UPDATE TO TEMPORARY SOCIETY RULE CHANGES: 22/02/24
THE ROPED AREAS ON THE COURSE ARE NOT GUR.
With immediate effect.
Due to bare patches on the course.
Pick and place nearest (NOT NICEST) point of relief no nearer the hole.1. The new flower beds which are in several places all over the course will be a FREE DROP from the nearest (not nicest) point of relief NO NEARER the hole. Please speak to a fellow playing partner to confirm the correct place to drop.
2. Blind tee shots (particularly on the 5th, 11th and 15th holes). Which after the allotted THREE MINUTES can’t be found and it is VIRTUALLY CERTAIN (95%) they have gone into the penalty area. A ONE STROKE penalty DROP from an imaginary line from stake to stake at the estimated point of entry ON THE RIGHT SIDE of the path (on 11th and 15th) will be permitted.
Please place a tee in the ground at the estimated point of entry and measure the two club lengths and place another tee in the ground before taking the drop.
If after dropping a ball in this situation that ball is then IN PLAY even if the original ball is found afterwards.
For example on the 5th hole if a player goes for the green over the trees they will not be allowed this penalty drop because it can’t be deemed VIRTUALLY CERTAIN (95%) the ball has entered the red penalty, because of the numerous trees the player has to go over (unless it is seen by a spotter on the fairway).
PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE this rule and CAUSE ARGUMENTS with fellow players or this rule will be revoked and players may face disqualification.
Can we please make sure we are only looking for balls anywhere on the course for 3 minutes from when the player who’s ball it is starts looking.
Please adhere to the rules of golf at all times and if you are unsure ask your playing partner
1st hole.
Semi rough right of centre of the fairway, in the dip.
2nd Hole
The semi rough left side of the fairway all the way to the green.
8th hole
The semi rough all the way down the right side of the fairway.
5th hole.
All the left side and bottom before the barranca to the green.
8th hole (currently roped off area) on the right of the fairway/rough at the bottom of the bank.
15th on the right side.
17th on the bank to the left of the green.
Just for a month or so until the grass grows back👍
PLEASE NOTE
The roped off areas are NOT GUR.
Particularly in the dip on the 8th fairway/rough.
Take the nearest NOT NICEST point of relief NO NEARER the hole or play it as it lies.

8th hole (currently roped off area) on the right of the fairway/rough at the bottom of the bank.
15th on the right side.
17th on the bank to the left of the green.
Please note the roped area’s are not GUR.
